A PdY/FeCrAl composite wire was prepared. After heating the composite wire in atmosphere at 850℃, its interface structure and interface diffusion were observed and analyzed by the metallographic microscope, X-ray diffraction and electron probe. Owing to the elemental diffusion and interaction, three new phases were appeared in the interface, which greatly influence on the elements diffusion. The relationship of the diffusion layer depth (ξ) of Fe, Cr, Al and Pd with the heating time(t) obeys the following rule: ξ=
(k is the diffusion constants of the elements). |
