Tetrakis(triphenylphosphine) palladium was synthesized by mixing PdCl2 with triphenyl- phosphine in DMF followed by addition of the reducing agent. The yield was greater than 95% based on PdCl2. The structure of tetrakis(triphenylphosphine) palladium was characterized by means of elemental analysis, FAB+-MS, IR and 1H-NMR along with electronic spectra, and the catalytic activity was tested in a Suzuki coupling reaction with a conversion rate of 70%~88%. |
