| Platinum coatings are prepared by electroplating platinum onthe surface of rare metals. Both alkaline baths and acid baths are employed as the solution system, and main salts include different water-soluble platinum complexes of ammine, hydroxide, chloride and sulfate. The platinum coatings so obtained on rare metals are applied to water disposal, chemical technology, metallurgy, electronic technology, etc. |
