The uncertainty of quantitative determination of lead in fine gold by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was evaluated. The impacts of major sources of uncertainty were discussed and calculated, such as weighing, standard solution, standard curve and measurement repeatability. Both of the combined uncertainty and the expanded uncertainty were also obtained by combining every calculated components of uncertainty. |
