      The secondary resource utilization of palladium was introduced. The sources, characters and properties of spent Pd/Al2O3 catalysts were analyzed. The mainstream hydrometallurgical processes for recovery of palladium from spent Pd/Al2O3 catalysts were summarized. According to the practical situations in production, the problems existing in the processes and the research orientation in the future were discussed.
