| The historical records of the daily trading price of precious metals in the New York mercantile exchange during 2008~2016 were provided. The price fluctuation caused by the value deviation of precious metals was elaborated. The factors leading to the value deviation of precious metals were analyzed. It is pointed out that human social activity is the fundamental cause of value deviation and price fluctuation. |
