The iridium complex Ir(ppy)2(SFO) was synthesized in one step by heating the dimer Ir2(μ-Cl2)(ppy)4 and the auxiliary ligand SFO under alkaline conditions in ethylene glycol monoethyl ether medium with a yield of 85.2%. The chemical structure of Ir(ppy)2(SFO) was verified NMR (1H and 13C) and MS. |
